Mumomoment Hits: Dindi's Five #1's

For those who are single, I told you: this too shall pass. And it did. We are still alive and single... and ready to mingle!!!

Speaking of being single, our contributor is my dear sister, Dindi Yu. Well, as of press time, I think she is seeing someone but since it is not official, she is still single. Hahaha!

She loves inspirational songs, mostly gospel. She knows how to play almost all of the instruments used in the music ministry. I just felt like saying. She said all of the songs she gave me are number one for her. So when you see that all numbers are the same, wag na kayo magtaka.Ganyan talaga ang mga Pebrero. :)

MUMOMOMENT HIT #1 HUMBLE KING by LAURA HACKETT

I am impressed with Laura. She knows that voice can make her rake millions of fans, dollars, endorsements and awards. She didn't go mainstream because of the passion to share the music to the quiet Christian community. Just as I have thought, this blog is going to be very serious.

LAURA HACKETT FACTS: She wrote her first song when she was 8. She later attended the Conservatory of Music and Dance at the University of Missouri in Kansas City and graduated with a degree in Music Theory. She teaches voice classes and serves as a worship leader at IHOP.

This one is a great love song from us to God. The lines are simple but direct. Adding Kari's voice makes it a song of the angels.

KARI JOBE FACTS: This 31-year-old Christian singer/ songwriter is also the worship leader and pastor at the Gateway Church. Jobe received her first Grammy nomination for "Where I Find You" as Best Contemporary Christian Album in 2012.

MUTEMATH FACTS: Mutemath is an American rock band that was formed in 2003. Their longtime guitarist Greg Hill left the band in October 2010. This didn't stop them from creating music, thus the album Odd Soul released in 2011.

GLEN HANSARD & MARKETA IRGLOVA FACTS: Guy is an Irish songwriter, vocalist and guitarist for the Irish group The Frames and The Swell Season. Girl is a Czech singer- songwriter and musician who later became an actress, thanks to the movie Once in which they won the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 2007. She is the other half of the duo The Swell Season.

She met him in 2001 when she was just 13. Her father organized a music fest in the Czech Republic and booked The Frames. Their romantic relationship began during the making of the movie and ended in 2009.
